Los Angeles was the host of more star athletes and famous faces than normal as the NBA All-Star game rolled into town. During the week we have seen plenty of special appearances from NBA All-Stars at various locations all over the city. The Foot Locker House of Hoops at Beverly Center has not only been a source of All-Star shoes as well as special releases, but hosted events as well. On a stormy Saturday afternoon the location was modified to accommodate huge crowds to see hometown hero and All-Star Pau Gasol.
The event was hosted by Terrance J, known for wearing some fly kicks on his show BET’s 106 & Park. The appearance was another part of Nike Basketball’s Los Fearless Trifecta simulcast. The Foot Locker House of Hoops page had a live feed of the events happening at House of Hoops along with Blake Griffin at the Nike Tunnel and Kobe Bryant at the Nike Vault. For those who couldn’t make the events, Nike made it possible for the world to see three of L.A’s biggest basketball stars off the court. A hometown hero and fan favorite Gasol entertained many with his very personable and light-hearted Q&A session. Keeping up with the spirit of the festivities he also gave a away pair of All-Star LeBron 8 V2′s to a lucky fan although his personal Hyperdunk 2010 was available in-store. Another appearance at House of Hoops that was worth the fans time and added to a memorable weekend.
